I work primarily with women and moms navigating anxiety, overwhelm, childhood trauma, postpartum, life transitions, and loss.
Many of the women I work with are high capacity and deeply caring — they’re just tired of carrying so much alone.
One of the greatest honors of my work is helping these women feel seen (in some ways, for the first time). While showing up for yourself can take bravery, clients also can report an immense amount of relief.
In sessions, we slow down. We pay attention to ways your body might be responding to your experiences. We find language for feelings that have felt vague, tangled, or too big to approach alone. Collaboratively, we create space for the experiences that have been crowded out but still matter.
In clinical terms, I use Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, Polyvagal Theory, trauma awareness, and elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT, certification pending) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) for developing a framework for client struggles and informing care.
If you’re ready for a space of your own where you can let your shoulders fall and allow someone else to help you carry what you can no longer bear alone, I would be honored to work with you.
